The Knipex 98 Series VDE Stripping Knife, with an ergonomically designed handle, is VDE tested up to 10,000V, and safe to work at up to 1,000V. The 98 Series also conforms to DIN EN / IEC 60900.

The handle provides a confident, safe, grip thanks to slip-proof soft components, and also features a thumb recess and 'finger hook' at the end of the handle to ensure a good transmission of force when the blade is pulled.

Its surgical steel, stainless, vacuum-hardened blade has a sickle shape with guide shoe at the blade point, this ensures there is no damage to the conductor insulation.

Comes with a transparent protective cap.
