The Makita 5008 MGAJ Circular Saw is a lightweight tool with the additional safety feature of an electric brake. It also has a magnesium die cast base, blade case and safety cover. It has an easy to read cut-depth scale with the two most frequently used numbers, 19mm (3/4in) and 13mm (1/2in) stamped in larger size. For improved visibility, the circular saw has a built-in job light using a twin LED light.
