The Makita LS1219 Slide Compound Mitre Saw has a soft start feature and constant speed control with an electric brake for increased user control. The motor head slides on fixed pipes without extending machine at rear end, so the machine can be placed close to a wall.

There is a front knob for easy bevel adjustment and holders to support a wide workpiece. The mitre angle lock is easy to operate, there is also a one-touch sliding lock and large turn base for ease of use. The saw can be attached to a dust extractor if required.
